I joined the cult

My phone broke. OK, i dropped it in the water. That's really not important. What matters is that my phone didn't work and AT&T wasn't going to care until May. Anytime before May, I was going to have to shell out retail price for a new phone. A new smartphone costs about $500, so buying a new one was not an option.

Luckily, a buddy of mine loaned me his old phone to use for a few months. An iPhone. I've always been an anti-iPhone, anti-Apple cult kind of person. I mean, they're all so pretentious. And my non-Apple smart phone was really nice. Really, really nice.

But now that I've been using this iPhone for two days, I have to tell you that I LOVE IT. It's simple, easy, and all the features are totally intuitive. I hate myself a little for caving in, but it's just a better product.

In May when I'm eligible for stupid AT&T to upgrade my phone, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a new iPhone. I'm drinking the kool-aid and it tastes so good.
